Triglycerides Damage The Heart Arteries

 

triglycerides are fat that run in the bloodstream and fat tissue. This causes the narrowing of the arteries, if not  controlled it can put the person to risk of heart attack or stroke.  Usually when the cholesterol level is high it’s because that the triglyceride is also beyond its normal level.

To find out the level of triglyceride, the person needs to have a blood works in the laboratory. If the result is above 200  it signifies that the person needs to have it controlled or bring down to its normal level of 150.  Never disregard the result, get a medical attention right away. If you are overweight, obtain for the ideal weight and keep a regular schedule of exercise. Quit smoking.. It   reduced the HDL which is the good cholesterol.

When the fat or cholesterol  are build up in the walls of the arteries it can form a plaque, narrowing the passage of the blood, overtime the plaques that block the arteries cause heart disease and stroke.

When diet is not enough to lower the triglyceride levels a drug  prescription shall be  given orally as maintenance until your next blood work becomes normal result in triglyceride.

Always keep a record of your guide if the LDL is  over 70 and less than 130 mg/dl the person needs to lower the  level hence he san start his diet plan. If the HDL is more than 40 to 60 mg/dl this is good cholesterol aim for higher because it is good for the body. Cholesterol less than 200 mg/dl, put it down thru diet and exercise. Triglycerides over 10 and less than 150 mg/dl, keep it lower.

If after taking into considerations to lower the cholesterol the level is still high then go for further treatment , a blood sugar test is recommended to any symptoms of diabetes or thyroid function test.
